All Exhibitors / vendors will be expected to comply with the Company Safety and Welfare policies and must ensure their own Company Policy Safety Statement / Method statement/risk assessment and insurances are made available for review before any work commences on Cork Summer Show Grounds. Contractors/ vendors must comply with their duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations,
All work must be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and taking into account the safety of others on the Cork Summer Show Grounds and the general public.
Exhibitors /vendors employees are not permitted to alter any structure or equipment unless authorised to do so.
All works being carried out (Site setup and removal will be carried out under permits which will be supplied by our external safety consultant and managed for the duration of the summer show.) Each aspect of these works will be fully briefed to all involved outlining Health and safety regulations and safety expectations when working within the grounds of the summer show.
All plant or equipment brought onto Cork Summer Show Grounds by Exhibitors must be safe and in good working condition, GA1 cert along with an in-date GA2 cert will be required. All plant must be fitted with any necessary guards and safety devices and with any necessary certificate available for checking.
All power tools, transformers, generators, extension leads, plugs and sockets must be to latest standards for industrial use, and in good condition. PAT Test cert required.
Any injury sustained or damage caused by contractor's employees must be reported immediately to the Cork Summer Show Grounds supervisor.
Exhibitors/Vendors employees must comply with any safety instructions given by the Cork Summer Show Grounds supervisor or safety consultant. 9. Cork Summer Show Grounds inspections will be conducted to report on health and safety matters. Exhibitors / vendors informed of any hazards or defects noted during these inspections will be expected to take immediate action.Exhibitors/ vendors will provide the name of a designated person they have appointed as Cork Summer Show Grounds Safety Liaison.

Any material or substance brought on Cork Summer Show Grounds which has health, fire or explosion risks must be used and stored in accordance with Regulations and current recommendations and that information must be provided to any other person who may be affected on Cork Summer Show Grounds.
Exhibitors/ Vendors are particularly asked to note that workplaces must be kept tidy and all debris, waste material etc. cleared as work proceeds.
It is the Policy that all Cork Summer Show Grounds staff, operatives, contractors, visitors etc., on the Cork Summer Show Grounds wear suitable safety footwear and PPE at all times while on Cork Summer Show Grounds.
Any Exhibitor/vendor who arrives on-Cork Summer Show Grounds under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be removed from site,we will ensure he/she is escorted safely to his /her place of residence and is not in any danger to himself/herself.
Horse play/ fighting on the Cork Summer Show Grounds is an instant dismissal, Cork Summer Show management will not tolerate any form of horseplay or fighting on-Cork Summer Show Grounds
Bullying will not be tolerated as per our company policy safety statement and Cork Summer Show Grounds rules.
Failure to comply with these safety requirements and Cork Summer Show Grounds rules may lead to removal from Cork Summer Show Grounds for the offending personnel. Constant breaches by contractor’s/vendors personnel may lead to the vendor being removed from the Show Grounds.
