Saturdays Virtual Action

Sundays Virtual Action

The Cork Virtual Summer Show has taken place on Saturday 4th July and Sunday 5th July 2020.

Organised by the Munster Agricultural Society, the Cork Summer Show has been running in one form or another for over 200 years, since 1806 but this was our first ever VIRTUAL Show which has attracted hundreds of online submissions with wide variety of video and photographic entries - thanks for all who tuned into our virtual event over the weekend.

Our events and competitions were open for entry online through May and June covering a wide section of categories including: Horses, Ponies & Donkeys, Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Pigs, Poultry, Floral Art, Plants & Horticulture, The 10 Minute Cook Off, Arts, Crafts & Baking to include Adult's hand made crafts, Adult's Baking, Children's Crafts and Lego/Duplo and Meccano, Maxi Zoo Pet Show, Agri Innovation Awards and Best Dressed Competitions.

Cork Summer Show 2020 embraces the Virtual stage and has pushed boundaries to reach out to everyone with access to the web, be it via mobile / cellular phone, tablet or computer.

COVID-19 has inspired us to rethink and adapt. This is our first virtual show in 215 years and  created a new dynamic dimension, bringing us Cork Virtual Summer Show.

By participating in this new Cork Virtual Summer Show you will be supporting a charity in your local region.
A full list of the chosen charities will be published after the show.

Entry has been open to all, no matter if you live in Ireland or New Zealand or in between, all are welcome.

The Cork Virtual Summer Show has been focused towards people and their interests, so for the first time we are able to give attention to wider participation and to competitions one could not run in a physical showground.

We are embracing technology to its limits while at the same time ensuring that participants and public all over the globe can now get access to Cork Virtual Summer Show 2020.

I hope you enjoyed the competitions and the events throughout the show weekend.
