Entry Fees:
Horses €20; All Working Hunter Classes €20, unless otherwise stated.
Brood Mares and Young Horses €20; Foals €10
I.S.A. Qualifiers €15
Prize Money:
Horses: 1st €100; 2nd €60; 3rd €40, unless otherwise stated.
Foals: 1st €50; 2nd €30; 3rd €20
Horse Championship - Champion €100 / Reserve Champion €50,unless otherwise stated
I.S.A. Levy - 5% deducted from prize money.
Please note;
A. 1st and 2nd Prize winners are eligible to entry their respective Championships.
B. The committee reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate any class if insufficient entries are received.
C. NO Stallions allowed, with the exception of Foals & Yearlings, or unless specifically stated in a qualifier.
D. This year Working Hunter Horse Classes will include a Showing Phase.
Bantry Show Society present THE BANTRY SHOW KWD I.D. FOAL MUNSTER CHAMPIONSHIP
All other competitor will receive €75 on appearance at the final.
Rules & Conditions
- The aim of this championship is to encourage the breeding of Irish Draught Foals.
- The championship is open to all foals eligible for ID Class 1 status.
- Two foals to be selected at each qualifier, at the discretion of the judges.
- The dam's passport must be produced for inspection at the qualifying rounds and at the final.
- The foal's passport must be produced at the final.
- One of the judges at the qualifying shows to be from the Irish Draught Horse Judges list if possible.
- Foals competing at the final are ineligible to enter any other class at Bantry Show.
- There will be separate classes for colt foal and filly foals at the final.
- The Overall Champion will be selected from the winners of each class.
- The qualifying exhibitor must fill out their own qualifying card at each qualifying show.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules.
