- ALL HORTICULTURE ENTRIES MUST BE GROWN BY THE EXHIBITOR.
- STEMS TO BE DISPLAYED IN CONTAINERS CONTAINING WATER.

Staging Friday 19th June 2026 4.00pm to 8.00pm
Judging Saturday 20th June 2026 8.00am – 10.00am
Viewing Saturday 21st June 2026 from 11.00am
Dismantling Sunday 21st June 2026 5.00pm – 6.00pm
RULES AND CONDITIONS:
- Vegetable classes will be judged according to the National Vegetable Society's rules.
- Paper plates provided where required.
- Presentation will be considered by the judge.
- All vegetables should be washed and free from soil with roots trimmed as required.
Class Confined to Allotment or Community Garden Groups
Each exhibit must consist of a display of fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and produce from an allotment or community garden. The exhibit should be displayed within an area not larger than 610mm x 610mm (24”x24”). Entry is Free
THE COMPETITION WILL BE JUDGED AS FOLLOWS:
Variety: 25 points
Condition and quality: 50 points
Overall presentation and attractiveness: 25 points
Prizes 1st Place: €100 + Cork Summer Show Box Rosette 2nd Place: €40 3rd Place: €20 4th Place €10
Winners will be presented with The Claret Jug
No entries permitted on day of event.
