SH79Q: The Bantry All Ireland Crossbred Breeding Ewe Championship Qualifier
RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. This Competition is open to all Breeds of Crossbred Ewes
2. An Exhibitor shall qualify a maximum of two ewes for the final.
3. All ewes must have four or more permanent teeth.
4. Ewes qualifying for this final are not eligible for entry to other classes at Bantry
Show.
5. Two Ewes in each qualifying show maybe selected to compete in the final
provided the judges agree the standard is high enough.
6. All exhibitors must wear a white coat and have their number clearly visible at the
final.
7. The Exhibitor must fill out their own qualifying Card at each qualifying Show.
8. The foregoing rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA General rules
together with Bantry Show rules.
9. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each
Qualifying Show. Completed card and entry fee must be handed into the
secretary’s office on show day.
PRIZES: Champion €300 & Sash – 2nd €200 – 3rd €150 – 4th €100 – 5th €75 – 6th to 10th €50
Entry Fee: To Qualifying Show: €10 To Final: €15
FINAL: BANTRY SHOW Sunday 16th August 2026
Judges:
Suffolk, Texel, Charollais & Young Handler Classes;
Blackface Mountain, Border Leicester, Any other Pedigreee Breed, Commercial;
All sheep entered for competition must be entered in or be eligible for entry in the Flock Book of the Breed. All sheep must be in the Showgrounds prior to 10.00am.
Judging to commence at 12noon.
No entries permitted on day of event.
