Prizes:

Adult Competitions -1st - €25, 2nd - €15, 3rd - €10.

Adult Photography; 1st - €12, 2nd - €8, 3rd - €5.

Children's competitions - 1st - €12, 2nd - €8, 3rd - €5.

 

All exhibits to be delivered to the Cork Showgrounds, Curraheen on Friday 19th June between 2.30-4.30pm for judging on Friday night. Judging to commence at 5.30pm SHARP

Exhibits cannot be collected before 5.30pm on Sunday 21st June 2026.

 

 

RULES & CONDITIONS:
Each exhibitor to bake all items using recipes found on the Odlums website and
Odlums products must be used: Please see items below:

N.B. All recipes can be found on the Odlums website.
1. Items to be displayed on individual plates (3 tiered plates can be used for the
smaller items) to enhance presentation and each exhibitor will be allocated their
own space (trays optional) on a base 24” Square.
2. Points will be awarded for taste, texture, appearance of baked items and
presentation.  

3. The competition is confined to amateurs, with one entry per exhibitor at the
final.

4. The items must be fresh, and home baked by exhibitor.
5. In the event of a signed and written objection and following an
investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from
their profession, they may be disqualified.
6. A special class will be held at each qualifying show. Two entries may qualify from
these shows for the final, if judges and ISA agree that the standard is high enough.
The Qualifiers from each of these shows will go forward to the final, to be held at
the Tullamore Show, on Sunday August 9th.
7. Non adherence to tray sizes will deem elimination of exhibit.
8. All items will be cut and/or sampled by the judge.
9. Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a hamper containing Odlums
products, on appearance at the final.
10. Certificates will be awarded to the finalists.
11. The judge’s decisions at all stages of the competition, IS FINAL.
12. Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
13. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.

Marquee opens from 7.30am on show morning and will be closed for judging at
10am sharp. Marquee will open to the public at 12 noon and exhibits may not
be removed before 5pm.

FINAL: TULLAMORE & FBD NATIONAL LIVESTOCK SHOW  Sunday 9th August 2026

No entries permitted on day of event.
