Horses: 1st €100; 2nd €60; 3rd €40, unless otherwise stated.
Foals: 1st €50; 2nd €30; 3rd €20
Horse Championship - Champion €100 / Reserve Champion €50,unless otherwise stated
I.S.A. Levy - 5% deducted from prize money.
Please note;
A. 1st and 2nd Prize winners are eligible to entry their respective Championships.
B. The committee reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate any class if insufficient entries are received.
C. NO Stallions allowed, with the exception of Foals & Yearlings, or unless specifically stated in a qualifier.
D. This year Working Hunter Horse Classes will include a Showing Phase.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
- The aim of this championship is to encourage the breeding of Irish Draught Foals.
- The Championship is open to all foals eligible for ID Class 1 status.
- A Maximum of Two exhibits may qualify, provided the judges feel the standard is high enough for an ISA Championship.
- The Dams passport must be produced for inspection at the qualifying rounds and at the final.
- The foals passport must be produced at the final.
- One of the judges at the qualifying shows to be from the Irish Draught Horse Judges list if possible.
- Foals competing at the final are ineligible to enter any other class at Bantry Show.
- There will be separate classes for colt foal and filly foals at the final.
- The Overall Champion will be selected from the winners of each class.
- The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show. Completed card and entry fee must be handed into the secretary’s office on show day.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules.
PRIZE FUND: €2,000; PRIZES; Champion Colt/Filly €300 - Reserve €200 - 3rd €100 - 4th €80, 5th and upwards will receive €75 on appearance at Final, Champion Foal: €100.

FINAL: BANTRY SHOW Sunday 16th AUGUST 2026
