Cork City Fire Brigade will be out in force at this year’s Cork Summer Show, bringing a lively, family-friendly display that mixes hands-on fun with important fire safety advice. Visitors can call in to meet their local firefighters and explore a dedicated Community Fire Safety Vehicle, along with a wide range of operational equipment.

Final preparations are underway for the Cork Summer Show, Munster’s longest-running agricultural showcase, which returns this weekend at Curraheen Showgrounds.

Oonagh O’Brien, a Cork Summer Show competitor in miniature horse classes and rescue horse classes, with Peanut as they make their final preparations for this weekend’s show at Curraheen.

An extended bus route and free shuttle bus services will run over June 20 and 21 to help ease traffic burdens in and around Curraheen Stadium for the Cork Summer Show
